Case studies from Slovakia and Czechia for European research projects
Are you preparing a multi-country study and looking for a partner for Slovakia or Czechia? We help you find suitable companies, conduct interviews and deliver case studies in English following the project's common methodology.
A local partner who understands both research and companies
We work with research organisations and consultancies preparing studies for Eurofound, EU-OSHA, the European Commission and other European contracting authorities. Our focus is the use of AI, algorithmic management and changes in work.
What we deliver
The scope follows the project's terms of reference. A typical country package includes:
- Selection and recruitment of 2–4 companies by sector, size and type of technology use.
- 4–6 semi-structured interviews per company with management, HR, employees and their representatives, as the study requires.
- Analysis of company documents and, where useful, a short complementary survey that places the interviews in a wider context.
- A case study in English following the client's template, typically 10–15 pages per company.
Why WorkLab Research
We combine knowledge of the local context with research experience. Interviews build on the academic literature and on the project's common methodology, so that findings are comparable across companies and countries. Where the brief allows, we link them with survey data.
The result is a report that captures the experience of both management and employees and clearly separates findings from their interpretation.
Who we are
WorkLab Research is led by Prof. Zoltán Rózsa, a researcher in work design, human resource management and human–AI collaboration. He works with a team of researchers and doctoral students from universities in Slovakia and Czechia and with partners in Italy, Poland and Hungary. We work in English, Slovak and Czech.
